It’s Day 6 of NAPOWRIMO and the prompt is to write an aubade, or morning poem. I looked to Emmy Perez with a hint of Jack Spicer for inspiration.

a yellow bathing suit of light

a violin’s song

in the blue endlessness

a breaking lemon
